A Beautiful Year Comes to a Close

2017! I never would have imagined this time last year we would have so much to share with y'all. We kicked off 2017 ready for a new year with our Bamboo Bedding & Bath Store in Scottsdale. We were getting packed and ready to move into our new home and finally be finished with our apartment living stent. At no time last January were we ever thinking that we would be sitting in our new shop filled with amazing items and having met so many wonderful people in such a short time.

January, February & March came and went with our focus being on our bedding and bath store and getting settled into our new home. April proved to be a month of change & new ideas. As many of you know this spring I ended up sporting an air cast that forced me to not only slow down and focus on my health but also game me time to focus on a new project that made my heart laugh with happiness. The Urban Silo Market Project.

Spring flowed into summer that bringing us (and my air cast) to Texas to our first market and our first visit to Magnolia Market in Waco. It was also the down hill roll of lining up the perfect space for Urban Silo as well as all the amazing local Artisans that have become part of the team. It also brought us the opportunity to be in the Faces of Phoenix Magazine which we were above and beyond proud to have had that opportunity as well.

Summer moved into fall (which in AZ is just as hot) and our doors opened wide for our friends in the Valley to come and experience what we call "The store of all of our favorite things and people" aka Urban Silo Market. Shortly after the store opening the famous "Air Cast" went away and I was back on my warp speed mode with both stores and getting ready for our first Urban Silo Holiday Season.

For a gal who has always been in love with Christmas this was a dream come true. Having you all as part of our first Holiday means to world to us. I had one of our amazing customers Grand Daughter help decorate our tree with us, many more children came by and played with delight rearranging ornaments and playing in our winter wonderland. We also welcomed several new team members to the family which we are all missing very much as they are home with their families for the holidays.

And here we are, the end of December waiting for the new year to kick off. A New Year that will be filled with fun new finds for you and your home. We are finalizing details with a local roaster to have our own Urban Silo Coffee available to you in store and online; We are in the process of doing an entire overhaul on our website and finding new ways to get your new online finds you all over the US and not just in Phoenix; We have a new addition to our Magnolia Line....Oh right.....those details will come soon but for now its a secret ;); and more exciting new local artisans that will be in our shop as well.

So, we finish 2017 with gratitude for all of our blessings and start 2018 filled with excitement and drive for all the new and wonderful experiences on the horizon.
